Goals:
Bring in companies to feed players, advertise, and partner with the league. Sponsors can have branding on-site, digital promotion, or offer fan experiences.
Example:
A smoothie company provides drinks for players and gets logo placement on social media. A snack brand sponsors a VIP fan area with branded tents and giveaways.
Things to Remember:
Prioritize local or nearby teams to reduce travel complications.
Gather team info: number of players, staff, and current league experience.
The MLF will provide contracts for any team joining.
Stay in touch with team owners and keep communication clear about expectations.
Payment / Compensation:
Per contract; flat fee for recruiting a team plus potential bonus if they officially join the league.
Flexibility Notes:
If a team is slightly outside the preferred region but is highly competitive or has strong fan support, they can still be considered. Use creativity to expand the league strategically.
