The journey to the MLF season kicks off with our Open Showcase, where athletes showcase their skills for a chance to receive an invite to the Invite- Only Showcase or even land a contract on the spot. Standouts from the open round will receive invitations to the Invite-Only Tryout, where the competition intensifies and final evaluations are made. From there, the top players will enter the MLF Draft, earning their place on a team roster. The MLF officially releases its tryout showcase schedule, starting with an open tryout showcase and progressing to invite-onlyshowcase. Athletes will have a chance to showcase their talents and earn their way into the MLF Draft Pool.
MLF Sets Official Draft Date

The MLF confirms the official May 21, 2026 date of the inaugural MLF Premier Draft. Prospects who advance through tryouts will enter the draft, where teams will select players to compete in the historic first premier game, and sets the stage for the first season.
