Goals:
Recruit local coaches from high schools or small colleges in the Los Angeles area who want to coach professional football. The goal is to find coaches who are motivated, know the local football scene, and can bring energy and knowledge to the MLF. These coaches should be ready to work with pro players and understand how to lead a team at a higher level.
Example:
A high school defensive coordinator who wants to coach at the pro level, or a small college coach looking for their first pro coaching opportunity. You could meet them through local games, school connections, or networking events.
Things to Remember:
Focus on coaches who are local to LA for easy integration.
Coaches should be ready and willing to transition to professional play standards.
Compensation and contracts will be provided by the MLF; you don’t need to draft contracts yourself.
Keep track of interested coaches and schedule interviews or meetings as needed.
Payment / Compensation:
Per contract; can include flat fee per recruited coach or bonus if they sign with the MLF.
Flexibility Notes:
If you find a coach slightly outside LA (e.g., Orange County or Ventura County), you can bring them in too. The key is local familiarity and availability.
