GET INVOLVED AND IMPACT OUR LEAGUE

1. Ownership Models

Privately Owned Teams: Operated by a single owner or ownership group, responsible for all operations, branding, and expenses.

Player-Operated Teams: Teams managed and funded by their own athletes, with shared leadership and responsibilities.
2. Season Buy-In Fees

1 Season (8 games + playoffs): $15,000

2 Seasons (10 & 12 games + playoffs): $25,000
-
5 Seasons (12, 12, 14 games + playoffs each year): $50,000
3. Payment Options

Split Among Players: Cost may be divided evenly between teammates.

Sponsor-Funded: Teams may secure brand sponsorships to cover costs.

Out-of-Pocket: Full amount paid by an individual or group.
4. Team Responsibilities

Provide own uniforms, helmets, and practice gear.

Organize own training, coaching, and logistics.

Cover travel and accommodation costs.

Submit rosters, schedule preferences, and staff info prior to deadline.
5. Revenue Sharing

Teams receive 1/3 share of all MLF league-wide ad revenue, including:

On-field barrier ads

Streaming platform ads
-
League sponsorships
-
6. Game Rules & Format
-
Played on sand.
-
8v8 format with unique tackling rules (full tackling only in red zone).

House teams are permanent league teams; Renegade teams must reapply after 5 seasons or upon major violation.
7. Branding & Media
-
Teams must submit logos, team colors, and branding materials.

Each team will have game footage filmed and shared.

Must maintain a minimum media presence via social media.
8. Conduct & Compliance

Teams must adhere to MLF’s code of conduct.
-
Performance or conduct violations may result in removal.
-
Disputes are handled by the league commissioner.
9. Ultra Bowl Eligibility
-
All teams in good standing with winning records are eligible for playoffs and a chance at the Ultra Bowl Championship.
10. Deadlines & Submission
-
Teams must submit full applications, payments, and materials by league-announced deadlines.
